About Janou Postpartum Center

Founder and President of Janou Postpartum Center, Inc and owner of Janou, LLC. Dr. Cius is a Board certified Alternative Medicine Practitioner, Natural Health Practitioner, Doula, Lactation Specialist, Herbalist, Perinatal Patient Navigator and Holistic Health Practitioner, with degrees in Doctor of Naturapathy and Phd in Philosophy of Natural Medicine. Dr. Cius has a passion for women's reproductive and maternal health and started Janou Postpartum Center to change the way women are cared for in their postpartum journey.

Gerdite has over 10 Years of finance experience in Banking and Owner of Konpa 2 Kizomba Festival (K2K) Its mission is to educate and celebrate Konpa as a rich cultural expression rooted in Haitian heritage and incorporating Kizomba—an African dance originating from Angola—K2K highlights the deep cultural connections between the two communities. Many Angolan sounds are influenced by Haitian music, and this festival serves as a bridge that unites both cultures through dance and music.
